I left my job of 16 years at the end of March. I was shell shocked through the end of May. I am finally free. My husband just got back from Budapest. I think he's prolonging his jetlag as he got back last Saturday and is still "fatigued". Maybe he's sick? I know it's easier gaining those 6 hours back. On the way out to John Wayne airport some of my coworkers and I saw Tommy Smothers. He was with his security guard, hanging out watching everyone board, smiling and looking delighted. I didn't realize, nor was I informed, that the marathon today would take over All Of DT Richmond. I'm still here. I missed my 7am flight because the roads around my hotel were barricaded and once my taxi was able to get through, we were stuck in more traffic getting out. I just spend exactly 30 hours in Seattle. I found out Monday that my boss wanted me to go, which set off rescheduling of N'sgymnastics, shopping, scheduling the travel, fighting this cold/achy feeling I've had all week...which includes this constant headache above my left eye.
